We believe that all worn jewelries have their own special characters and that it's okay to wear your pieces where ever, whenever. There are, however, a few things you can do to extend the life of your loved pieces.
General Rule of Thumb
Jewelries are best stored in dry area away from moisture. Place your jewelry in the provided pouch or your jewelry container when not in use. It's also not recommended to shower or swim with your jewelry on, however some of our pieces can be worn underwater. Check the description for more details.
Semi-Precious Stones & Pearls
Avoid exposure to skincare and cosmetics when possible. Clean your jewelry with soft clean microfiber cloth. The stone and pearls have different resistance to hard material, so try to store them separate from other jewelry items.
We use 925 silver, which is sturdier and should not require much cleaning. Sterling silver tends to naturally tarnish when not used. Clean by wiping the pieces with soft microfiber cloth is the best option. If that still doesn't do the trick, mix 2 parts water to 1 part baking soda, combine to a paste, and use a soft cloth or toothbrush with fine bristles to scrub gently.
Gold vermeil means the jewelry has a core made with silver 925 and coated with gold. Wanlee uses 14k gold, which is the sturdier option compared to 18k or 24k gold. To clean, gently rub your jewelry with gentle soap and microfiber cloth in warm water.
Proper care and maintenance is vital for any jewelry. Following these methods, should help extend the life time wear for the pieces for years to come ;)
